Here is a great camp meal:
BLTZ -Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Zucchini
(i forgot to put the lettuce on when took the photo!)
- Pita Bread
- Turkey Bacon
- Light Mayo
- Tomato slices – Fresh from the garden!
- Zucchini slices – And more garden goodness!
On our Coleman Grill we cook the bacon (yes lisa in pan!) on one side and grill the zucchini on the other. After the zucchini is done i also toast the pita bread.
Then you just assemble together like any BLT. The zucchini just makes it that much better!
Now if you are like my hubby, he uses regular bacon.
And yes minus the 3 slices the kids ate, he ate all of it. So when he needs bigger size pants this fall we will know why!
