Great job everyone!  We only lost 2 people over these 2 weeks!!  Keep up the great work.

I have not decided weather or not i want to do another session of this.  If I do it will not be until after next week or so.  Its been kind of crazy around here, and poor David has been working so many hours.  i can not remember who told me they did make it and who didnt tell.  If i do it again i need to get more organized.  If anyone else would like to run it, please feel free!

I really would like to do it again, it helped me get back into my mindset i had over the summer when i lost 25 pounds in 12 weeks.  From September to xmas i lost only 7.8 yet in the 8 weeks since xmas i have lost another 7.8!  So i am getting there!  I worked out 7 days this week, but had so food slip ups.  Maybe the next challenge should give bonus points for proper eating!!!!

Final week

Okay here we are the final week.  Next weekend I will draw the winners name on Sunday morning so make sure you have your status into me by Saturday night or first thing Sunday!

I hope you all took advantage of last weeks sex bonus!! Now back to reality for the final week.  Stay focused and try to make this week you best yet!!  I have 13 days till I run 3 miles during the heart run and walk.  I have that excited nervousness going on.

Training underway..

After deciding to run a 5K last week I have been doing research on training.  I have found a lot of great information.  I have tell you the conversation between my trainer and I:

Me:I am going to run a 5K

Him: Awsome!

Me: Am I ready what training tips do you have for me?

Him: RUN!!! ha ha

What a smart ass, and I pay him!!  He did tell me some thing and we are going to talk about it later this week. 

Saturday, hubby and I went to dinner for an early vday celebration.  I had already gone out to lunch with my GF, her daughter and my son (I won tickets to Sesame street live).  At lunch I ordered a turkey burger –plain with a salad.  At dinner I ordered grilled chicken, and steamed veggies.  We did get an appetizer, it was artichokes, spinach and chicken flatbread “pizza” it was on made on a tortilla. it was yummy.  I desperately wanted the cheesecake on the table next to me.  Instead we went for coffee and shared a Hershey bar!

He dropped me off at home and he went to pick up the kids from my mothers.  This gave me time to workout for about 30 minutes..(I was trying to maximize my time, why sit in the passenger seat for 30 minutes when I could be moving?)

All the training guides talk about walking so many minutes then run so many minutes and each training your running time increase.  Got it..but I need to know what I could run a mile in on the Tmill with a small incline.

My 1st Mile was 13 minutes 30 seconds (without stopping) then I walked for 3.5 minutes and ran a 13 min 16 second mile.  Tonight I did the same thing the first mile was 13 min 05 seconds for both miles – I had to stop for a moment but I was running at different speeds.  Both workouts I burned over 400 calories – love it!! 

On New years day I ran a 2.4 miles in 30 minutes – or 12.5 minute mile.  now on the tmill I am running a 13 minute mile. I am hoping the weather gets nice this week and I can find a way to go outside and run.  I really want to get down to a 12 minute mile…I need to run 5 mph tonight I ran between 4.5 and 4.7.  I can do this.

Exercise Tournament–New rule for this week!


In honor of Valentines Day for this week, and this week only Sex, Making love, getting busy or whatever you want to call it will count.  There are some highly recommended guidelines!

1) It should really be with your spouse or boyfriend if you are not married.  No boyfriends for the married crew.

2) it should get your heart rate up and make you happy.  In other words ladies, you have to be into it! not just doing it because your hubby wants it and have not told him you purchased that 75.00 pair of shoes (in two colors).

3) Don’t just reenact the scene from When Harry Met Sally…Actually try to experience it!  you know what I am talking about!  A little brown chicken Brown Cow!!!!!

Now like any other week, DO NOT expect me to come police you on this.  It is up to you to be honest with yourself and hubby for that matter!!  try for it to last 30 minutes at a cardio level!!  That will offset the chocolates and really make your hubby happy for a few days!

Week 5!!

I can not believe we are already at week 5.  So the two people that were out last week are still in.  I am just a really nice person and they provided the proof they did the time!  Besides I want everyone to make it to the end!  That is the point.

I am going to be challenged this week to be in.  My kids gave me the bug of course it’s the curse of the indoor water park.  Ugh. I feel like ick all day today.  So I have 5 days to get back in gear. 

I am hoping the bug undo’s the crap I ate at the waterpark (pizza and wings).  Last week I gained at my Thursday weigh in, and then I was up a few more by Sunday morning.  But now I have not eat in about 20 hours..

Winter workout!! Week 4

Okay I know I am days late on this entry but I have been so busy! sorry.  Anyhow, we are down 2 more people. Sad smile boo.  As for the rest of you we are half way!!! go you!  Just think you are now a statistic.  Most have given up their new years resolution to be more active by this point but you are still doing it.  By now it should be a normal thing for you to fit in time for a quick workout!

This past weekend we took the kids sledding.  While David and tyler drove the 4wheeler out to the hill, I snow showed to the hill while pulling Emma in the sled.

I can tell you one thing its no short walk out to the hill:

When we got back to the house Tyler was trying to teach Emma how to make snow angels! it was so funny she wanted nothing to do with it.  He told her to lay back in the snow and she looked right at him and said “NO!”



She was more interested in the phrase daddy said; “Lets go inside”
