Elves in Verona!

Another fun night with the elves!! Here is what i posted about this night last year (Click Here!)
Well once again all the elves were running, although it seemed less hectic this year!. We had our craft table, our wrapping table and our baking table! We worked from about 6pm to 12am!





I wish every night was girls night! I think next week we should go out to a bar/dinner and celebrate the holidays being over lol! Come January we can get back to the task at hand...scrapping our crap!

09-09-09....!!

In honor of today's date, 09-09-09!!, here are 9 fun things going one with us!! I love number things!!

1) 9 great scrapbook pages

Brag book for my desk..i went back to work this week. But instead of working 9 hours i am work 4.5 for a few days.





2) on Saturday, i canned 9 qts of Peaches, ok 8 qts. The first time i ever preserved peaches..i hope they are good because it seemed like alot of work! But i did start at 9pm that night and finished around 12am.

3) I also made some Hot pepper Jam..thanks to aunt Laurie (but she really got it from Aunt Cathie). We only made 4 half pint containers. Its very hot..people are saying its a 9 alarm hot!!

4) We had 9 times the fun with smores and popcorn in honor of Labor day!

Aunt Laurie's 5 Page Rule

I am really behind on scrapping all the photos i want done. I had hoped to complete all the 2006 photos by the time emma arrived...yes 2006. That didnt happen. Aunt Laurie developed a five page rule. If I scrapped, I needed to do 5 pages! Well the last 2 Tuesdays I have scrapped with the girls but I have not meet my 5 page requirement.

Over the last week I have made up the difference and did 5 extra credit pages!...15pages in 2 weeks I am very proud!





Not sure if I will scrapbook tonight since at 2pm I am getting my wisdom tooth pulled.

Week in Review via photos

We have been crazy busy the last week. I have been off of work since Thursday afternoon, I am not going back until the morning of Tuesday the 14th!! Much needed break! I could write a book on all that we have done and seen this week. here is a recap.

We purchased bedding for Emma's room! Its Love bug by Carter, Pink and Choc. brown.

Tyler needed a new dresser to fit all his toys in his room. So we purchased him this one! It's his big boy dresser, his old one he gave to his sister Emma.

I have worked on some craft projects....can you guess where they maybe going?

I have even done some accessorizing!!

Last night we did some decorating!!! I am sure you are getting a good idea of what the room looks like! However, you will wait to see the official room photo for when i feel the room is complete.

On Friday, Tyler had an Easter egg hunt up at the farm. He was one of the first find all 14 of his eggs! He turned them in for his prizes, a basket full of Candy that he wouldn't share with mommy!

A few Saturdays ago Tyler and i planted some random Basil seeds i had left over. Well they have finally started to grown, sorry the photo came out blurry. Tyler is more excited about the big weed in the pot then the actual basil. So i think Mr. Weed will be staying.

Saturday Night was the final Crunch Hockey game until October :( Insert tears here... My sabres didnt make the playoffs either. It is a bad hockey play off season for me!

I finally organized all my pages that i have boxed up. And put them in albums! That was my 9am project today.

We have search for lots and lots of eggs, Friday at the Farm, Saturday at my Moms, Sunday here, Sunday afternoon at Nanas. That bunny was very very busy. Our bunny Max is a cousin to the easter bunny, he helped out the easter bunny in the westmoreland area. Boy was he tired on Sunday, we took him some extra carrots!!

besides the sidewalk chalk, bubbles and tons of candy, Tyler was most excited that the easter bunny remembered his bug vacuum. The only problem we have had is its cold again, and can not find any bugs to test it out on!

Well that is the wrap up from the S-Den! i will try to upload all the photos to webshots later, but a little girl in me is hungry. I also told tyler i would sit on the couch and watch a movie! Guess who is going to fall asleep first!!!

Meet Little Bunny (aka Max)!!

Tyler told me his name is Little Bunny, I want to call him Max. Last night while we were sleeping a little bunny made himself at home in our cage (with the assistance of Bernie and Denise)!!

He is very cute. He was in the pen when we took tyler in the shed so he didnt notice. Tyler was telling me about the water bottle when he stuck his head out to say hello! Tyler backed up and then was really excited that a bunny was in the kitty cage.

He is a Crème D'Argent ( i have to research that later). He is very soft and loves people!! He has to get use to his new surroundings. He came from Heritage farms http://www.heritagefarminc.org/Home.asp They have a great mission : Heritage Farm, Inc., established in 1985 provides a unique variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Bernie and Denise didnt get to our house until 10pm thankfully we only had one bunny in the cage! I think we would ended up with more animals if we had room. Bernie, we do not need goats, pigs or chickens on Bartlett!!

So now our family consists of: Mommy, Daddy, Tyler, Wyatt, one Kitty, one fish, one bunny and a baby in the tummy! The funny thing is on Sunday i was complaining that i dont know how a family of 5 in NYC can live in a 800 sq. brownstone but we can not live in a 1600 sq. house with full basement and garage. Now we have a bunny!!! But he is so cute!!! Tyler told me we need to plant carrots in our garden for him!

In other news, this week tyler and i have been spending time in the new craft area. Tyler made some projects while i worked on some scrapbook pages:

Making room for baby

This weekend we are going to start making room for baby. Our first project really has nothing to do with the baby but with satisfying me! We are making storage cubes in the mud room so that area is more useful! there will be a bench for tyler to sit on and lots of storage. The closet is going to get a cleaning too. David, tyler and Dad already took the boarder down and painted the top of the walls. The bottom will have bead board.

Also this weekend, i am going to clean out my scrapbooking stuff...stand by for amazing deals! we are going to turn our desk area into a craft area..kinda. i found some good units at Target that we are going to go get. We are trying to figure out what to do with the computer. Our original plan was to move the big computer thing in tylers room that was housing toys, to the foyer and put the computer there. But David hates so i dont know what is going to happen.

Anyway we will be busy, the Honey do list was 25 items long for the weekend! Today I am going to the doctor, hope to schedule my sono appointment the next few weeks to find out if its a boy or a girl! after that ty and i are going grocery shopping. Well I need to blow dry my hair and eat some carbs!

TGIF

Hello, my fellow friends and fans!! fans haha - it sounds good! I wanted to pump myself up!!

So anyway this week was pretty uneventful since i did not find my motivation on ebay as i previously posted!! On Monday we took tyler to his first professional hockey game! The Crunch played at 2pm, so it was a perfect time! He slept for most of the 1st period and ate for most of the 2nd period. that 2nd intermission and 3rd period were a killer.

He wanted to walk all over the arena. I took him down stairs and got him a flag that entertained him for a few minutes. The last 5 minutes of the game were a killer. He was looking at the stairs and really wanted to run up and down them. but there were too many people sitting over there to let him.

by the way the crunch overcame the saturday night fights and won! they out skated them, out played them and hell they are way better looking! Both games were against Hamilton.

I only worked 3 days this week, that was great but will make next week suck. I was off today and couldnt get my lazy butt in the shower until 1030am. I did get the groceries done and my laundry is started. It was so nice out, we played in the snow. Tyler and David went sledding in the woods. Now i need to get ready for Girls Weekend!!! We are leaving tomorrow morning to Jennys for a scrapping weekend! I can not wait! I have nothing packed!

In other news, david will not let me post on here the nice video of him and tyler playing tonight. I dont understand why, i publicly display my embarassing stories on here. Anyway, just ask him why and what he was doing! haha. hint hint ->webshots! Honestly i dont think he should have a say, since i am the one to do all the posting. of course i will not get him the username and password!! {{ wink wink }}
