For weeks i have been saying "oh we are busy", "this weekend when by too fast- because we were so busy". Looking at my calendar, we are booked with at least one event ever weekend until mid December. I just need to accept that this is our life now. We are just on the go. The sooner i accept it the sooner i will adapt to it...however, i still am very excited about next weeks time change.
So lets get you up to date on our Den!!
a few weeks ago tyler went on a field trip to the Clark Mills fire House:
Its fall and the Geese are moving. If you look carefully you can see the field is full of Them! Tyler is out there with his pop gun, it didnt phase them one bit! On the 18th Dad shot a buck with the bow, when i told tyler.....that boy dressed to go outside and see it in less then 2 minutes.
With Fall comes Hockey! We went to the crunch opener!! I am so looking forward to our next game! They won in a great game!
This past weekend was the marathon. Friday night we went to the Beaver Lake Enchanted walk. I didnt take photos because i had all i could do with the baby and umbrella. It was raining but we still had fun. All their nature walks were lit with pumpkins. Some of the designs were just amazing. All and All we had 19 of us in our group, 6 were 4 and under!
Saturday we carved pumpkins, I think you may have seen the photos!! Emma makes a great pumpkin. She is entered into a contest please vote:

Later Saturday night we had a surprise birthday party for Bernie! He turns 60 this week! The party was at The soda fountain in Remsen, i think he was 100% surprised!
Sunday morning we had to get cooking! We started with pumpkin seeds that turned out really yummy.
4 tablespoons melted butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
Heat them in a 275-degree oven for 15 to 25 minutes until golden brown. i stirred them once or twice. Once done I lightly sprinkled them with sugar and salt!
We also had to make cupcakes and grapes for Nana and Amanda's birthday party.
I actually baked the cupcakes late on Saturday, Tyler and i just frosted them Sunday morning. I filled them with pumpkin pudding to give them that added fall flavoring. I wanted to do it in a spice cake but i didnt have any. So i did it with a butter yellow cake and they turned out great! Tyler loved the sprinkles!
Then i made the grape salad...tyler thinks that silly to say! "Grapes aren't salad mommy!"
At the party Amanda tried to resist her birthday spankings, i think that made it worse.
Tyler is such a big girl now. She test drove her excersaucer this weekend. I think tyler took this photo!
She is such a big girl!!! she was very tired from all the events!
Finally tonight, we went on a cold haywagon ride up at the farm.
During the ride, uncle james scared the boys ..... if tyler has nightmares tonight I will be calling James! after the ride we had a fire with cider and donuts! it was lots of fun!
Okay i am just tired recapping that! well onto get ready for this week! Tomorrow tyler has is halloween party at school, he is going to be the best darn fireman there!
Dont forget to vote for emma!
